In SATCON, we design and execute deep foundation systems including piles and micropiles, in all types of formations. SATCON maintains a fleet of equipment of different sizes, capable of working even in tight areas.
We have equipment small enough to go inside a building, under a roof 2.5m high, and maneuver around the columns, yet capable of drilling micropiles up to 300mm in diameter, in addition to equipment capable of drilling large diameter piles up to 1.2 m in diameter and down to depths exceeding 40 m.

SATCON executed several challenging underpinning projects, one in which an existing seven story building was supported on micropiles, excavation below old foundations was done down to 8.0m depth, and two basements were constructed and connected to the existing building.
Load bearing piles were executed in weak soil formation in the presence of a water table, with the use of casing down to the full pile length. Bentonite slurry is also available and can be used in drilling deep piles.

“For piles in loose/collapsible formations, SATCON recently introduced the use of Continuous Flight Auger CFA Technique. Diameters of 50, 60, 75, and 100cm are available. Pile length may reach 23 meters.”

Pile loading tests under different loads are available.
